"RUN! HELP ME!" — The Serverblight talking through scubamaster96

The Serverblight is a Multi-classed TF2 Monster created by YouTube users Two Idiot Germans.

It is the main antagonist of the Serverblight Series.

Appearance

The Serverblight has no confirmed true form, instead it takes on the form of various Mercenaries it assimilated. The Serverblight's influence caused the assimilated Mercs to have longer limbs, fingers, feet, extra body parts, and assimilated Mercs no-clipping into each other. It speaks only through voice commands of each Merc it assimilated, however their voices are deep pitched sounding monstrous.

In the case of the Blighted, they are often pretending to be normal players to trick other players, then they change into a more hostile form where their hands and fingers elongate and an extra hand comes out of their mouth. It is also shown the Blighted can grow extra body parts just like the Serverblight, with some being almost non-noticeable unless examined closely; one of the most reported extra extremities witnessed on infected players is a sixth finger on the left hand, seen on the infected forms of both a Heavy and a Scout.

Personality and Behavior

So far, the Serverblight is shown to assimilate Mercenaries or players into its mass. However in the Empty Server video, it is shown that the Serverblight can lure unsuspecting victims. Despite that the voices of its victims sounds monstrous. In The Empty Server: Migration, it's shown that is able to communicate via text by spamming the phrase "I'm having so much fun!". This indicates it takes pleasure and joy out of what it is doing.

In SERVERBLIGHT, it became much more intelligent and started using methods such as luring HectorOn to melee a Blighted Scout "Directionz" to the front of the RED first spawn room and infect him, and using his voice chat to trick and gain trust of Dickaslot so it could try to learn and assimilate him, and using JonyDany12 as a bait to lure him closer to the RED last spawn room. However, it was shown as sometimes it's not perfect when doing it for the first time, shown when Dicksalot sees Hector0n's voice chat bubble wasn't aligned on top of his Medic character model and not disappearing afterward. Severblight has likely demonstrated anger when Dicksalot manage to escape once again like their first encounter when it failed to catch him the second time.

In the new interlude that starts right after SERVERBLIGHT, PUPPET shares more insight on the abomination's personality. Revealing it indeed relishes on the suffering of the assimilated players. Quoted by the narrator: "Its smile widens behind my head. It savors my resistance."

The newest iteration of the Serverblight, based off the assimilated form of scubamaster96 featured in SERVERBLIGHT: Assimilation, has grown to be able to completely mimic a fully functioning server to lure in unassuming players; not only that, it has learned a means to keep players from escaping by making its home in a map that has no visible Death wall or Barriers. It currently remains unknown if this knowledge is shared via a hivemind with the 'main' body or if it is an independent and separate being.

Powers and Abilities

• Assimilation: The Serverblight is capable of grabbing players, alive or dead, and merge them together in its mass as one. With the victims conjoined, the Serverblight can use text messages to lure unsuspecting victims and also use the Mercenaries voice commands. A side effect would possibly be that the Serverblight merges way too many players that it ends up slowing down and left stationed in one spot, usually in the spawn of either team. What is concerning is that the Serverblight is able to make its presence in real life as well. Upon assimilation, the players in real life die as their bodies are left either on the floor or sitting lifeless on their chairs.

• No Disconnection: In its first video, the Serverblight will trap any player that enters its residing server. It is possible the Serverblight disables the timer and the objective so that it can find and assimilate others. It is also confirmed dying out of bounds can allow players to disconnect. Alt+4 or binding a quit command or pulling the computer's plug could work, but it appears it does not matter; the Serverblight in Migration left as soon as JonyDany12 left as it managed to touch his leg before he left, it was confirmed by the creators it allowed Jony to leave so it can follow him to assimilate more players. In SERVERBLIGHT, It was also shown killbinding is also disabled once it enters the server when Dicksalot and Hector0n tried to killbind themselves in attempt to disconnect from the community server. This strength is enhanced on maps without offstage kill zones, where the victim is required to play a class that can inflict self damage, like Soldier or Demoman.

• Puppeteer: The Serverblight is shown that it can't always assimilate players but also control the bodies of the Mercs they play as, it was demonstrated in the Migration video using GUILLIESUIT's Engineer to lure JonyDany12. In the third video, the Serverblight used Hector0n's own voice as the Blighted Medic to gain trust and trick Dicksalot before chasing after him once he's caught. In their own Creepypasta, PUPPET, it is confirmed the assimilated players are in fact still alive and conscious. And they suffer having to watch themselves being controlled to do the Serverblight's bidding.

• Transporting Souls: In the Empty Server video, an Engineer named GUILLIESUIT has attained the special trait of moving his Engineer like a person despite that other players move like they're just playing TF2. It is possible the Serverblight can transport the souls of players into the Mercenaries they play as, so long as the player is in the server for too long. In SERVERBLIGHT, it was further proven once the Serverblight joins the server with Dickalot, he's already shown feared by recognizing GUILLESUIT's name from The Empty Server, and scubamaster96 smiling after saying "we go together". When Dicksalot hypothesize about how the Serverblight behaves his mouth syncs to his chat text much similar to how GUILLESUIT speaks, and even lowering down his Direct Hit rocket launcher upon discovering his friend "Hector0n" was already Blighted.

• Stealth & Superspeed: The Serverblight may be capable of getting around the map easily with some sort of stealthy ability and also getting around the map quickly. While Dicksalot was attempting to disconnect, the dead body of a Heavy he saw earlier disappeared and there was a monstrous voice-line in the background saying "I like this new weapon." and the Heavy's body was gone. In the end of the video, Dicksalot fled for the cliffside as the Serverblight gave chase and almost caught up with the Sniper.

• Blighted: In its third video, the Serverblight managed to send out parts of itself to find other players. Splitting itself of the numerous Mercenaries it assimilated as Blighted to lure and assimilate other players. Such is the case with scubamaster96 who ended up becoming a Blighted for the Serverblight and attacked Dicksalot and Hector0n. They also undergo deformation with elongated limbs and growing extra body parts, the most common trait is they grow a hand from their mouths. Despite they are under the control of the entity, the Blighted actually still maintain the consciousness of the people that were pulled into the digital mass and are forced to watch themselves attack and infect other players. It was also discovered that if a teammate of a cloaked Spy is infected, they're able to see them and point them out to infected members on the opposing side.

• Infection: Initially believed that the infection was only passed on if physical contact is made to either the main body or the Blighted, melee attacks also count as direct contact with the Serverblight such as in the case with Hector0n getting infected after being lured in by the infected Scout Directionz. While it is not known if melee attacking causes the infection to take hold immediately or gradually over a few minutes, it is widely believed to be instantaneous as Hector0n was heard using only repeated phrases and flat inflections until his infection was revealed.

• Body Multiplication: While it was initially believed that vote-kicking Blighted players could save them from being completely taken over, it was shown that it does not cure them and merely allows the infection to spread to other servers. This was seen when a just assimilated scubamaster96 was vote-kicked off the server where the main Serverblight was located and immediately began infecting other players after arriving in a different map.

Trivia

• Two Idiot Germans left a comment on a video and reveals JonyDany12 did indeed manage to disconnect but the Serverblight had intentionally let JonyDany12 leave the server to go migrate to the next server by attaching his leg as he leaves.
