Spantis is a BLU Spy TF2 Monster created by Youtube user Livviathen.
Appearance[]
Spantises are BLU Spies but with a small head, no visible nose and a large mouth which resembles a large creepy grin, and elongated skinny torso and legs. They stand like a praying mantis. Spantises are shown to be human-sized, but there are also some mantis-sized Spantises as well.
Personality and Behavior[]
When a Spantis finds a potential prey, it starts clicking his teeth together and watches them briefly to see if they move, the Spantis may also approach the prey and tickle them while clicking his teeth. Once the Spantis is sure he found a prey, it screams and sprints after the prey on all fours. The Spantis doesn't seem to eat its prey's corpse.
Small Spantises are aggressive towards people, but will not attack them and prefer to fly away.
Powers and Abilities[]
Human-sized Spantises have demonstrated to be faster than a Scout when running on all fours, the Spantis has also demonstrated a powerful bite that was able to kill the Scout in a single bite to the neck.
Mantis sized Spantises are harmless to people and can fly using their "wings".
Faults and Weaknessess[]
The Spantis' vision is based on movement, as it does not consider a still person a prey and will not even attack them.
