Biography
Nightmare Medic has ruled Hell, possibly ever since the dawn of time, alongside the Devil. Supported by his subordinates, he began causing several exploits across the TF2 Freak World, slaughtering anyone he encounters. During this time, he came across BLU Nnnngh Sniper after he had killed someone. Though he left shortly afterward, he soon became allies with the demon. He eventually becomes an enemy of Erzengel and they both engaged in a duel, with both sides neither gaining upper-hand until Erzengel was saved by Dream Demoman, who took him to a safer location, much to the anger of Nightmare Medic. At some point, he encountered Painis Cupcake and engaged him in battle. Much like with Erzengel, the two were equally matched until Nightmare Medic wounded Painis Cupcake, prompting the cannibal to activate his self-ubercharge and pummel the Demon lord.
Frustrated, the latter unleashes his power on Painis, knocking him out, but he quickly regain consciousness and punched him through the chest, forcing Nightmare Medic to retreat. Later, during his time at pl_Thunder Mountain, he was confronted by a certain BLU Vagineer called The Bugler, who engaged him in combat. While Nightmare Medic originally had the upper-hand, thanks to his demonic powers, he was eventually defeated by the Vagineer, leaving him to have a strong grudge against him for his defeat.
Sometime later, he encountered the Vagineer again, after the TF2 Monster was tricked into a trap set by Infierno which sent him to Hell. In his wrath, Nightmare Medic proceeded to unleash his anger out on the Bugler Vagineer and leaving him to suffer. At an unknown point in time, he became enemies with the Demon Slayers, most notably their leader Reaper. At Sawmill, he encountered one of the Demon Slayers, Warrior, who proceeded to fight him, but Nightmare Medic gains the upper hand and killed him from behind. Much later upon coming into contact with Reaper, he engages him in a fierce battle at koth_Harvest. After being held back through most of the battle, with no other options left, the Demon Lord proceeded to engulf the area with fiery inferno. Eventually, he manages to defeat Reaper and cutting off his right arm, despite receiving several wounds, but before he could finish finish him off he was stopped by Spanner, allowing Reaper to hastily retreat, with the help of Mender. Furious, Nightmare Medic proceeds to engulf the entire map in flames.
After Soul Scout, Mender, and Spanner defeated Sentinel, the most feared out of all of Nightmare Medic's servants, an angered Nightmare Medic arrived shortly after the fight, but the trio quickly retreated before the Demon Lord could deal with them. Later, he was encountered by Soul Scout and Mender, who were investigating a series of murders, and they both engaged in battle. Despite the duo working together and using different tactics, Nightmare Medic once again gains the upper-hand, forcing both Soul Scout and Mender to retreat yet again. At one point, the Demon Lord recruits Pyre as an ally and possibly making him his servant. Some time later, he had two Disciples upgrade and enhanced Behemoth, making him stronger than he was before.
Personality and Behaviour
Though many Freaks are unapologetic psychopaths and carry genocidal tendencies, few to none match Nightmare Medic's degree of malevolence. The apex of evil, even Freaks with the most diabolical of agendas consider Nightmare Medic a genuine threat to all existence. The aura of fear that Nightmare Medic exudes has bent many, willingly or unwillingly, to his will. As a result, Nightmare Medic is the leader of countless hordes of demonic creatures and Disciples that carry out his commands without question or compromise. As the apparent ruler of Hell, Nightmare Medic commands the respect of many other demonic Freaks, including BLU Nnnngh Sniper, though respect is a malleable term.
Powers and Abilities
No Freak is truly invincible, though Nightmare Medic is one of the extreme few that comes close to god-like. As the ruler of Hell, Nightmare Medic has a boundless metaphysical power - as evidenced in The Three Shmuckfreaks: Grave Problems, even freaks of legendary strength such as The Bugler posed no threat to Nightmare Medic in his own domain. Such is Nightmare Medic's influence over Hell, that Freaks who end up there as a result of their evil nature or Infierno's trickery are either enslaved to Nightmare Medic's will or are sent back to the living world to continue wreaking havoc, though Nightmare Medic enjoys the latter more.
Though still an entity of incredible power in the living world, Nightmare Medic's powers are limited when outside of Hell. However, he still possesses physical power that only the likes of Painis Cupcake and The Bugler have been able to match, alongside a vast array of demonic abilities including extremely potent pyrokinesis, telekinesis, teleportation and the ability to conjure demons from Hell. In order to sustain himself outside of Hell, Nightmare Medic devours the souls of the living, which also gives him a temporary increase in power though not to the point of matching his power in his own domain. Should Nightmare Medic 'starve', he is forced to retreat back to the world of the damned.
Nightmare Medic is also an exceptionally skilled swordsman, wielding a colossal sword that has the power to transform shape at will. He has dueled Erzengel to a stalemate, as well as defeating skilled swordsmen such as The Demon Slayers even in groups - however, much of his close-range combat is based on his ability to shrug off otherwise fatal damage. Though not educated in the ways of science, Nightmare Medic's intellect lies in his mastery of the occult - a creator of many of his servants including Infierno, Sentinel and Behemoth, Nightmare Medic employs a method of dark magic and unholy science to further his goals in the physical world. His Disciples also follow the same practices, much of which were laid out by the Demon Lord himself.
Faults and Weaknesses
Though a being of near-insurmountable power, Nightmare Medic's weaknesses are mostly a byproduct of his strengths. Tied to the demonic world, Nightmare Medic's very being is vulnerable to angelic power - whilst he can never truly be killed, angelic Freaks such as Erzengel possess the necessary means to damage Nightmare Medic to the point where it will take years at a time for him to recover, giving them the opportunity to undo the damage that he and his servants have done. Angelic defenses, such as spells or hexes, also prove formidable (though not impervious) against Nightmare Medic's powers.
When traversing the physical world, Nightmare Medic's physical form is subject to several limits - though his physical resilience is superhuman, his body can be subject to destruction given enough offensive capability. Despite his extraordinarily keen senses, his level of awareness is also greatly diminished in the physical world, meaning that a contrived surprise assault can catch him off-guard.
